Offene Zugangsknoten verteilen an vielen öffentlichen Orten ein WLAN mit der SSID join.opennet-initiative.de. Dieses ermöglicht - nach einer einmaligen Umlenkung auf die Opennet Portal-Seite - den unbeschränkten Zugang ins Internet.
